Dust reduction

The water mist offered under the TechnoMIST brand has a significant effect on dust reduction in both outdoor and indoor spaces, regardless of their size. This technology effectively reduces dust, particularly that which is generated during material handling and manufacturing processes.

High-pressure misting systems create a high concentration of ultra-fine water droplets with an average diameter of 0.10 millimeters. These tiny droplets are capable of capturing very fine airborne dust particles, including those as small as PM10 and smaller. Adding surfactants to the system enhances the capture of fine dust particles, as these substances attract the particles and help them settle more easily to the ground.

Due to the small size of the droplets and the placement of the nozzles about 3-3.5 meters above the ground, the water mist created does not affect materials or products on the ground. The droplets evaporate (known as evaporation) before they reach the surface.

Misting systems are capable of effectively removing breathable dust particles ranging from 0.1 to 1000 microns. Dust trapped in the dense water mist has no chance of escaping into the open air, ensuring effective air cleaning.

Thanks to the modular design, these misting systems are easy to install without the need for complicated upgrades to production areas. This results in lower initial investment costs. The energy consumption for operating these systems is also low, further contributing to reduced operating costs. As such, it offers an economically and environmentally friendly solution that is both cost-effective and efficient for manufacturing businesses and operations. Furthermore, it is significantly more environmentally friendly compared to some standard systems that require high electrical power and structural modifications.
