Fire Protection

Fire extinguishment is a daily challenge for both professional and volunteer fire brigades. Although various firefighting techniques exist and modern extinguishing agents (foam, powder, snow, etc.) are used, water remains one of the most effective ways to tackle fires.

However, we now know that water cannot be used everywhere, and not every method of water application has the same effect. Traditional methods still in use are not always efficient, and fighting fires is often a lengthy process that causes significant damage—not only in the form of burned properties but also secondary damage from water flooding apartments, houses, offices, and other spaces that were not directly affected by the fire.

The use of water mist allows for more efficient water use and better results in fire suppression. By creating very fine water droplets, the total surface area in contact with the flames is increased. This results in better coverage of the fire area while using less water than traditional methods.

Another advantage of water mist is that it generates a smaller amount of water fallout at the fire scene, minimizing secondary damage.

Moreover, the fine water mist increases firefighting effectiveness. The droplets evaporate quickly, absorbing a large amount of heat from the fire and effectively cooling the fire zone. This reduces the possibility of re-ignition and accelerates the extinguishing process.

Water mist is used for fire suppression in various environments, including indoor and outdoor spaces, industrial facilities, public buildings, and more.
